WatchHow does not sell personal information for monetary value. You may still use this page to submit an opt-out request for other activities that applicable law defines as “selling” or “sharing.”
1. Your right to opt out.
You may ask us not to sell or share eligible personal information associated with you. Exercising this right will not result in unlawful discrimination, denial of service, or a different quality of service.
2. What sale or sharing means.
Under certain laws, “sale” can include disclosing personal information to another business for valuable consideration, while “sharing” may include disclosure for cross-context behavioral advertising—even when no money changes hands.
Routine disclosures to contracted service providers, disclosures you direct, and disclosures required by law are generally not treated as a sale or sharing.
3. WatchHow’s practices.
We do not sell personal information for money or provide contact lists to data brokers. We may use limited analytics, advertising, hosting, communications, and security providers to operate and improve our website.
Where such activity is legally considered selling, sharing, or targeted advertising, eligible users may opt out.
4. Information the request covers.
An opt-out applies to personal information reasonably linked to the browser, device, or verified contact details included with your request. It does not require us to delete information or stop uses necessary to deliver requested services, protect security, comply with law, or maintain internal records.
5. Submit an opt-out request.
Email info@watchhow.co with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” Include your full name, the email address used with WatchHow, your country or state of residence, and enough detail for us to understand the request.
Do not send government identification or other sensitive documents unless our privacy team specifically asks for them through a secure method.
6. Browser privacy signals.
Where required by applicable law, we recognize valid opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, sent by a supported browser or extension. A signal usually applies to the browser and device that sends it.
7. Identity verification.
We may take reasonable steps to confirm that a request relates to you. Verification protects personal information from unauthorized access and will be proportionate to the request. If we cannot verify a request, we will explain what additional information is needed.
9. What happens next.
We will confirm receipt and act within the period required by applicable law. If we need more time or cannot fulfill all or part of the request, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process.
10. Other privacy rights.
Opting out is different from requesting access, correction, or deletion. To exercise another privacy right, review our Privacy Policy or email info@watchhow.co with a clear description of your request.
